I had the similar issues with the window visors.

got the genuine ute ones and all spent ages setting it out perfectly, clips would not work at all and possible lodge into the glass so I canned them. 3m tape they give you is plenty.

I think you're referring to the weather shields Abuch? The ones the OP and I struggled with are the shades which sit inside the window frame to give shade to rear seat passengers:

For those who have fitted these, I’m looking at getting a set of them but how ‘transparent’ do the windows become? When it gets clipped in, does it become like privacy glass or 20% tints where it is hard to see out of the car /into the car?
