The silver pipe goes from the air dam and connects to the air box. I also sealed the box where the air would normally come in, so that the only air the engine got was via the air dam.

I know this is the VE section and this setup was for a VS, just giving some ideas.
I made one for my VS many years ago, worked very well, dropped intake temps considerably and also helped force a bit more air into the system. Unfortunately when I updated my sway bar the intake did not fit any more.
The air intake area is 44cm x 3.5cm =154CM2

I thought about drilling some holes in the plastic bit below the fog light and then putting an air scoop behind it.
That way it wouldn't sit down any lower and scrape etc.
Only at the thought stage at the moment.
Theres places in the States like Banks and AFE who sell scoops that hang down with little holes in em to let the water out.
None of them would be suitable, but good for ideas
