Want to put 5.0 v8 from vr/vs Caprice into v6 vp

Was just wondering if it is difficult to put a 5 speed manual 5.0 from a vr/vs caprice into a vp with a v6 auto and what would I need for the conversion, know I need all the wiring looms, ECU and all that, but also would the k Frame from the caprice bolt right on to the vp.

The only 5.0 litre manual VR/VS Caprice's you'll find will have been home made conversions. Each one will be different.

Yes, use the V8 k-frame. You'll need either a no-VATS memcal or one with the VP VATS signal.

Everything off donor car swap over to yours from radiator to front half of tailshaft...wiring is notably different so may as well convert car to vs.

Doing vs v8/4l60e driveline into vp ute that had v6 t5...90% done,wiring is taken longer than expected due to vp-vs changes.
