We are currently expanding our team. We would like to offer the opportunity for the following position:
High Performance Mechanic
Reporting to the HDT Manager; your primary responsibility is to provide an expert High Performance Mechanical solution to our customers. You will be exposed to our Mainline AWD Twin Retarder Dyno, with the opportunity to be trained in tuning high performance vehicles.
Requirements:
• Team player with open and honest communication skills
• Trade Qualified Mechanic with at least 2 years experience in a similar role
• A genuine passion for high performance vehicles, drag cars and show cars
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Commitment to cleanliness, environmental awareness and safety in the workplace
• Current Manual Drivers Licence
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical faults with the use of electronic diagnostics equipments and tools
• Install superchargers, turbochargers, exhaust systems, clutches, camshafts, heads and fuel systems
• Install other engine components and after market performance parts
• Prepare and maintain records, reports and job cards relative to your work
• Ensure scope of works is checked and signed off
• Research new products for use
• Customer service
• Liaise with office staff regarding customer requirements and charges
