Though your factory warranty may expire, your statutory warrant as provided under Australian Consumer Law doesn’t specify an end date and can protects you well after the manufacturers warranty has ended.

But, if you have any known warranty concerns, simply get the dealer to look at them and get the service documentation which should list your concerns and their findings/repairs... Documenting the fault as early as possible, while under manufacturers warranty, is and should always be the first step... no need for third party to check it (unless you know nothing about cars and don’t trust the dealer).
