Going to take my car in for it's first service, I have a few warranty issues that they will need to look at.

What is warranty issues and what won't they cover? (I would hope all are covered as it's only 3 weeks old)

Passenger side door hitting back door
Hand break#when in reverse or drive still allows car to move
Error code P0650
Water dripping down from center of windscreen on to engine cover
Iq software update needs to be done
Boot lid does not line up

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not a great philosophy to have on a $50-60K investment! It's not a $10 toaster. Sure, it's not a $150,000 Euro either, but I really don't think that expecting a to be car put together properly and in working order is too much to ask for. I'd expect as much from a $13,990 korean - sure I wouldn't expect it to perform as well as a $50K car but I would expect it to work and not scrub when you close the door!!! For #### Sake!!! When did quality control die????

In this instance, "you get what you pay for" has to apply to the equipment levels of the car and it's 'feel' - NOT whether it works or not!!! That's just fkn ludicrous!

all of it will be covered as you have the first 3000km service to fix any alignment issue with door and the boot lid after that it will cost, as for the water on engine cover this is just a design fault and wont be covered.

It will all be covered, I'm fussy and always made a list of stuff for holden to fix under warranty every service... usually ended up being about ten items per service. They fixed minor things from interior trim panels not clipping in properly, misaligned bodykit, faulty door locks, crap centre speaker (x4) all the way up to things like the driveshaft joints.

They were very good with warranty claims, but as soon as the factory warranty is done life becomes a lot more complicated.

Well they attempted to fix most things,
Passenger side door hitting back door - Fixed
Hand break - Not fixed They Looked right over it :bang:
Error code P0650 - Done
Water dripping down from center of windscreen on to engine cover - Normal... Apparently
Iq software update needs to be done - They will replace the whole unit.
Boot lid does not line up - All good. no issue

They managed to #### up my seat covers while putting them on. Any idea how to fix these?
