Just looking for a bit of advise.

so just brought vc commodore with a 308 stroked out to a 330.

story goes it’s sat for 14 years then old mate Brough it 12 months ago and got it going and just put around a small country town .

I drove it home got up to around 110 degrease max then I pulled over and put on a car trailer. Since then I have put new water pump in andsorted the over heating drama.

it’s only been run in the shed with no radiator cap on since I got it home. Done a oil change Saturday. Nothing sus in old oil. 3 days after changing oil BAM water in oil.

so my question!
Other the head gasket where can you end up with water in oil?
Timing cover gasket?
Manifold?
cracked head/ block/ cylinders?
What’s more likely? FYI the intake manifold isn’t that old he replaced it when he got it going!

I would go for the cracked heads for starters. Do a compression test.
