Water pump/ Ecotec 3.8

Bought a new water pump and the pulley doesn't line up properly, pump came with two gaskets and one spacer for the pulley and now fitted the new pump is squealing, might be a dumb question but was I supposed to fit both gaskets that came with the pump together as I only used one as I assumed that one was a spare, cheers

How to change Ecotec Waterpump

If im dumb enough to remove the belt without taking the pulley bolts out I just put a pair of 8mm socket or spanner east west on the pulley wheel and wrench.
