My missus recently curbed both the rims on the left of my car and its pretty noticable
eg:looks **** enough to make me want to buy new rims since the original paint is black .
Should i try touch up paint or can panel beaters grind the rim back a bit and repaint/powder coat?

cheers

cheap but close up you'll it = dremel to smooth it out then touch up paint.

middle of the road almost as good as new = rim repair specialist, but more expensive

mr money bags = new rims and take keys away from mrs :).

I feel your pain. It only took 48hrs for my wife to scratch my new rims! Thank god it was only like a 2cm scratch and not very noticeable to everyone else! This is my first and last auto. My wife has her own car so she can drive that all the time.

Haha, I have the same problem, I swear that KFC everywhere have had their drive-through's designed by car-hating-tofu-munching-tree-hugging blind people. There are a few specialists out there who specialise in this type of repair, and the pricing is pretty reasonable too, cause they must do truckloads of business from car enthusiasts everywhere, all with the similar starting line of "My missus had the car and..."
I can't see your location so can't point you in any sort of direction, however, if your here in Darwin like I am, and your cub marks are deep gouges - buy another rim. We are sh*t out of luck with wheel repairers up here, and the cost of freight and fixing is about the same as purchasing another rim.

Just get em fixed. It's like $60 a rim if it's not bad.

That quote is a rip off.
There is a joint here in melbourne whom do it for like 60 bucks a rim or there abouts i think.
