Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.
Top Holden of the Week
Looking great in white, this weeks top holden goes to a tough HSV R8. We’ve been a big fan of this car since it rolled out off the HSV production line and were happy to see it put to good use out on the drag strip.
Top Ford of the Week
Sticking with the high performance stables of each manufacturer, this weeks top ford went to this FPV F6. A great overall package with sleek looks and the speed to back it up, running a fastest time on the night of 12.38 @113.3 MPH.
Top Japanese of the Week
Not something we’d usually see on a Wednesday night, this Ralliart Colt was a refreshing surprise in the Japanese line up. Running consistent times throughout the night and having a blast as it zipped down the drag strip.
Top Rotary of the Week
A tastefully modified Mazda will always get our heart rates going and this RX3 proved to be no different. With the full rotary experience as it pulsed through the staging lane, then blasted down the quarter mile for a best time of 11.21 @ 135.8 MPH.
Top European of the Week
Something we are always happy to see on a Wednesday night are first timers! This E46 M3 vert was all style as its owner cruised down the strip, showing just how much fun you can have on a weeknight down at Sydney Dragway.
Commentators Pick of the Week
Our commentators pick of the week had to go to this Chrysler 300 SRT, the sound that comes out of these tough sedans is like no other and will grab your attention if is great looks hadn’t already.
Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information.
Next Race4Real is this Wednesday December 16th, 2015. This will be the last Race4Real for 2015 with the action resuming January 6th, 2016.
