Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.
Top Holden of the Week
The VL Calais one of the most recognisable vehicles to come out of the Holden stables, shod in Brock body panels and signature blue ice there was no other choice for this weeks top Holden. This first timer managed a respectable ET of 13.07 @ 113.3 MPH.
Top Ford of the Week
It wont be long before the brand new Ford Mustang is a regular sight on Australian Roads, this blazing red beauty looked great out on the track and put down a handful of great times. It’s fastest pass of the night being 13.75 @ 101.4 MPH.
Top Japanese of the Week
A staple in JDM car culture, the Nissan Skyline has a strong lineage of motorsport success. This R34 coupe looked and sounded the part as it blasted down the track, with a best ET of 14.59 @ 100.7 MPH.
Top Rotary of the Week
Back again for a consecutive week, this RX7 just keeps getting faster and faster. Putting to rest the rumours of rotary reliability and running consistent times all night, this black beauty went home with a fastest ET of 13.32 @ 105.9 MPH.
Top European of the Week
We’re constantly amazed by the speed off the line of these little AWD hatches in our European category. This Audi RS3 stayed in the 11’s all night with a quickest pass of 11.40 @ 119.68 MPH.
Commentators Pick of the Week
This weeks commentators pick went to this orange Datto Ute, not only did it look great, run great and put down a fastest time of 13.98 @ 103.2 MPH. It was also able to pull out a 0.000 Reaction time, taking home a total prize pool of $1260!
Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information.
