weird "MY CALAIS" number plates has anyone seen them before?

aye boys long story but my vn calais came with stock or well im pretty sure there stock number plates.
anyway they say "my calais" down the bottom. some pr#ck has stolen the rear one and the last owner went to see if he could get a replace ment but they said they wernt avable anymore??
he had quite a few decent cash offers for the set before one got pinched. just wondering has anyone seen any others like it?? or could tell me anything about them?? im gonna try get a new rearone made up even if i have to take it to a sighwritter

hi i looked on the SA plates website and it says nothing about it???
theses are the first plates ive seen to have the writing on them??
anyone else know any thing.

they arent standard, and yes as stated they are illegal in SA. Nice fine that goes along with them....

47D—Offences in connection with number plates
(1) A person must not—
(a) drive on a road, or cause to stand on a road, a motor vehicle to which is
attached a number plate that bears a number other than a number allotted to
the vehicle; or
(b) drive on a road, or cause to stand on a road, a motor vehicle to which is
attached a number plate that has been altered, defaced, mutilated or added to;

or
(c) drive on a road, or cause to stand on a road, a motor vehicle to which is
attached a colourable imitation of a number plate; or
(d) without lawful excuse, have in his or her possession a number plate or an
article resembling a number plate that is liable to be mistaken for a number
plate.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.

mabey he just got a set made up for keeps sake or to have in his back window for looks but put it on the car, that would explain only having one aswell, ive seen them before, number plates that arnt to put on the actually car but are specially made just for looks
