WH Long tube headers fitment

Hey I purchased a set of long tube headers from empire performance that suit the VT hoping fits a wh LS1

.I didn't see WH STATESMAN MY CAR in there... so I assumed guessed it could fit. .. the steering seems to be in the way, but it is the same as the VT rack n pinion, I have the rocker covers off etc and still won't slide in, I am prepared to remove more parts if I know for a fact the headers will fit, I just believe it's the same front as a VT? Am I wrong please help my busted knuckles...

Yes, the front is the same. I believe you have to unbolt the engine mounts and raise the engine slightly to get them to slide in, somebody else who's actually done it will probably comment.
