WH Statesman CD Staker problem - please help -

There,

having a problem with my 10 stacker in the boot of my WH statesman, I only get sound in one channell (ie right side of the car only). The radio and tape deck are both fine and work in both speakers, it is only the CD player.

I would imagine it is a possibly a physical wiring problem, I spoke to a car stereo place they were pretty unhelpful to be honest, but said their is a plug in the boot, and a plug under the console??? that could be the problem.

I am not confident in pulling the car apart without some decent advice.

Does anyone have any ideas? or had this problem also.... Someone also said it could be something to do with the mobile phone setup??

I am really getting nowhere and going on a trip next weekend for a week, and would like to have it working properly before I go...

there will be wires for left and right channel coming form the stacker, they will run from the stacker to the h\u. Have you done any work anywhere near where the cable runs or around the h\u because you may have accidently put a screw through the cable or just disconnected it from the h\u.
What is your phone setup? Cant suggest any probs if we dont know what it is. also is it a new setup?

Hi There,

No it is not a new set up, I bought the car second hand and I discovered the problem the next day.. (probably should have tried absolutely everything when i inspected it).. I will be having a look tomorrow arvo after work, see what I find.. hopefully it is simple
