can i use the original wires there or do i need to get special items and extra wires

the only wire im currently short is the "remote" wire to the amp i have the power and earth just need the 1 in the middle.

You need what is called a LOC - line output converter. They are also known as hi-low converters. Basically that take a high voltage signal in (existing/original speaker wire) and covert it into a low voltage signal (RCA's). This enables you to connect up an amp/amps.
