I want to find out what I have to do to access the engine data on a WH Statesman with a V6.
Now I use ELM Street on my Notebook for the VF and the VE V6 so what program and what interface is needed to communicate to the V6 Statesman.
Thanks

Use tunerpro with appropriate xdf/adl files and an aldl cable if you want the cheapest option. Although it does require some research and understanding to use the program properly. There’s plenty of info on pcmhacking.net

Alternatively, you can purchase software from envyous customs which is very easy to use. Check out their website. I know @losh1971 has used it and seems to be happy with it.

I have a legit version of ELM Street that I have purchased from envyous customs, can I use this? because I was told the Statesman V6 uses OBD2.

AED is a great program you can watch live data on engine and trans. You can also record the file while you drive and watch it later. I found it very simple compared to Tuner Pro.

Only the ls1 uses obd2 in those models. The ecotec v6 does not.

Thanks for the Good info.
So it still OBD 2 Port but can only be used for the LS1. Now what interface you can use from the computer to the OBD 2 on the Statesman V6?, can you still use the cable my cable the ELM 327 as the interface?

All I need is to see what Fault Codes are on the V6 Statesman.
