I had a 70 Grand Prix Pontiac with a 455 long time ago with a kill switch and i used to forget about it all the time so that idea wouldn't work for me

I have 2 kill switches just for the fuel system in my VC.....

That's just for starters for anti-theft devices for that car... :)

Okay sorry for another post (I’m still learning about cars)

I need to have my clockspring replaced (don’t know if this affects the theft horn relay) but my car horn definitely works

I was wondering is there a cheap-ish way or the best way for a anti theft for the vehicle (2002 vx commodore v6 automatic) I’ve been told to remove the fuel pump relay and keep that on me but that responsibility to keep it and may lose it scares me a little is there something inexpensive I could use or other people have such as killswitches gps, handbrake/gear locks thanks guys for all the help with out you guys I’d be f**ed hahaha
I heard one of those steering wheel locks are pretty damn good

Yeah na, a good set of bolt cutters will sort that out.

I’ve heard that the trick is to use the jack (in the boot) between the seat and the steering wheel to distort the steering wheel and remove the steering lock.

Also, many years ago, one of the top brand locks was apparently quite brittle so giving it a decent whack would cause it to break. Hopefully, they have improved.

i have a after market immobiliser fitted to the ute when you hit the remote you have about 20 seconds to start it before it rearms and cuts the power to the ignition

Yeah at the end of the day, a jack will do it, as will bolt cutters or something less cumbersome like a good cordless drill with a nice sharp bit.

Of course, it's good if a switch or fuel cut off delays their getaway, assuming car isn't towed onto a flat top and driven off. But they've already smashed the window, ripped the door lock and busted the steering column to get that far. Just stick a sleeping blow up doll in front seat with sunnies, they will keep walking.
Depending on what type of blowup doll you buy, they might still break in but fornicate with the alarm instead...lol So buy an ugly one...Hehe

Paddy gave his blow up doll a love bite and it farted, chased him around the bedroom and flew out the window!
