Use the two outside posts of each side the ones marked 4ohm and run those back to the terminals of monoblock.

The old bait and switch.... love it.

so run them parallel using the 4ohm ports on the box?

sorry to everyone for this. I dont know to much bout subs etc. i never knew there was dvc subs or anything.
my last sub box was just a single, straight forward, just hooked it up and it went fine for ages. only reason i stopped using it was cos it sold with my old vs commy otherwise i would have put it into my current car.

Do DVC subs go harder?

Ok no worries.
will I need a more powerful amp/monoblock to run these subs cos they are dvc? Or it doesn't matter?
I was offered a 800w rms pioneer monoblock last night, will this run the subs?

Yes, that would be perfect. Mind you, it will need 4ga power cable to run properly.

If you dont connect the two middle terminals together, you won't get any noise from the subs :/

As for whether or not the 800watt Pioneer monoblock you've been offered is suitable or not, we really can't say without knowing the model number, as it may do 800watts at 1ohm, which means you won't really gain anything by changing amps.

The amp will be better than his current amp...
