We all love our Commodores to death, but i thought i would start a thread about some things about your Commodore that really piss you off. I'll start by saying that in my VS when im driving at night, i go to go around a roundabout or turn a corner, i put my blinker on and the high beams flick on! That happens all the time, i wish the blinker lever was stronger, it flicks back and forwards too easily, i always end up blinding some poor bugger when i put my blinker on. The other thing that annoy's me is i can never get a comfortable temperature in the cab. Im either always too cold or too hot, the thing is, if the dial is on the C (cold) it does'nt matter if you turn it up to the end of the blue, it is still just as cold. To take the chill off, you need to turn it into the middle of the blue and red, then i get too hot. Anyone else have this problem?
i hate: the look that way it handles the way it changes gear the lack of power the fact it overheats at really stupid times, then at others when it should over heat it doesnt umm, thats about it really.
For my VY, the most annoying things would be the diff clunk I get every now and then, a piece of plastic on my dash somewhere that vibrates which sends me though the roof and also the ugly green dash lights. EDIT: Ahh I just remembered, another annoying factor is that the car won't start if its not in drive! heaps gooood
with the cab temps i set mine to in the middle of blue and red but i crack the window open half an inch
EXCESSIVE tyre wear in the rear of my VX, on the inside 25% of the tyre. I don't do burnouts etc... just general driving destroys them.
Stupid passengers side airbag cover is curling up from the heat. Edit: Stupid rear speakers are a stupid size! Stupid stereo has a pin code......& i dont know it!!!!
In my VY the little stash dpartment in front of the gear stick doesnt function propperly, wont open when i want it to, only when it wants too.
as previously said. god damn water when wipers goin and window down. also a rattle comin from the rear shelf somewhere. and the fact that i know its a repairable writeoff!
lol, get a new indicator stalk like $40 off ebay. I put one in my VS the other day and I LOVE IT! Clicks off like a brand new car haha, do it youll like it.
what do i hate the most? the metal on metal click in the front suspension i can't locate to fix. either that or the fact that every time i fix an exhaust leak another one pops up. methinks these headers are fkd
