Does anyone know what the two PWR lights on my dash are for? They never light up but I just wondered what they do:confused:

this question came up just the other week, i think we came to the conclusion that the 4cyl versions in new zealand use them.

that light stands for "power shift"

If your vehicle has a four cylinder export engine (L4) and is fitted with an automatic transmission, then this orange symbol will be displayed while driving, when ever the button on the tbar handle is in the out position.

^ from my handbook :p

I'm guessing it's like an overdrive off light.

One of mine is going to tell me when my carputer is turned on. :) They don't get used in the aussie ones, so might as well get them to do something for me.

So its the same as the PWR light in the VS Commodores then?
Why are there 2?

maybe when they both light up you get double power (ricer engineering) so that would mean you could save money and not buy the monsta tacho

Im guessing your talking about overdrive metallifux. Use it on highways and stuff so ur doing less revs and saving fuel. When you are in drive look at how many revs your doing then knock it into over drive and you will see the revs drop
