Christmas present to myself, 3 craft beer glasses, with the last bottle of my passionfruit IPA in the IPA glass.
Other glasses are obviously a stout glass and an American wheat beer glass.
Good quality, thin , lite glasses.
Have to be very careful with them, don't want them going the way of my last wheat beer glass .

Cracked open the first bottle of ginger beer and it is pretty good. Just the right amount of co2. Quite often you can lose half the contents if there is too much gas as it flys out the neck, much like a bottle of fizzy when you shake it up. Quite a bit of lemon flavour as i boiled the lemons to leach some of the lemon oil in the rind where all the flavour is. Plus i added sme lemon juice. 20181213_194939.jpg

Wholll it's a fairly potent drop. I sculled two glasses and it has gone to my head a tad. I reckon it might be the strength of a white wine rather than a full strength beer. I think the moonshine really increased the alcohol content more than I thought it would. Trouble with moonshine is it can be as potent as 95% if the neighbour doesn't water it down. I'm wondering now if he gave me some straight from the still??

Right at this moment, I have 6 Gallons of Hard Cider, still experimenting with it. So far, is nothing more than pasteurized apple juice and 2 lbs of brown sugar. Still trying to find the right yeast, so got this one and see how pans out.

This time, a nice and tick Krausen was formed within 2 days at about 72F. I think is going to be a winner.

One year tried Distiller's Yeast, it turned the Apple Juice like a White Wine, no apple flavors at all, decent content of alcohol, no sugar added.

Hey, some Vodka and creamy milk you got yourself a White Russian. Skip the milk for a Black Russian.

I can't drink those sorts of things , bit to sweet for my tastes , but had a chilled glass of Absolut Vodka , on ice with a slice of lemon last night , and a dash of soda , I'd forgotten how nice Absolut is .

A nice Vanilla Ice Cream makes great White Russian Shakes.

I am more of a Stolichnaya (Столичная) guy, I have a Gallon in the freezer at this moment, sealed, unopened ;)

A trick with Vodka. Buy the cheapest you can find and run it through an Activated Carbon filter, the same type you use for to filter water. Your mates will think they are drinking Grey Goose :D

We're out camping and I'm enjoying another home brew ginger beer, with moonshine.

About a 1/4 of the amount of creaming soda sodastream i had made. The rest of it exploded all over the kitchen. FML.
