Last night had 5 oz of Bombay Gin mixed with 1 oz of Matini & Rossi extra dry, shaken not stirred.

mar....tay.....oos.
I knew a guy last century, who would cringe the way we pronounced that quite good wine.

It's nice and crisp , actually classed as a crackling , due to its slight effervescent characters , goes well with most things too .

Haha, ag! stick all the fancy wine terms Neil said it best... gonna Have me a time with po’ man’s Lady!
Don’t need to say please to the man for happy tune!
Oh how I love my Rosé child:
You got the way to make me happy!
You an’ me we go in style!
Crackling Rosé your a store bought woman... but you make me sing like a guitar hummin’
So hang on to me girl as the song keeps runnin’ Ahh...
play it now... play it now... play it now my baby!

He mentioned had something to do with hobos and travelling northern North American Indian reservations where old railway slang for cheap plonk referred as Crackling Rosie possibly prickly alcohol and rosie cheeks but as you probably guessed is not quite a wine style rather simply the notion of a good bottle, your bottle, held close singing together!
I don’t have distribution in NZ but do a piratey 100% Barossa Grenache Rosé in the original Tavel style, called Sin of the Mermaid. Perfect chilled on the beach, happy to send you a couple if you ever get over to the mainland ;)
