Yeah mates have said Makers Mark is pretty decent. I love my JD's but have trouble with reflux real bad so pretty much any alcohol makes me ill. But sometimes that doesn't stop me.

Cannot stomach JD or Wild Turkey, gives me hartburn.

Looks good, going to try it, very simple to make. If you ever make yams, put a dash of burbon on it and bake them. If you do, becareful, bourbon is too strong and you might end up with Bourbon with Yams :D Get the recipe online, there are many different variations, find one that you might like.

Hmmmm in that case maybe I should try MM. Because like I said heartburn is what JD's gives me too. I have 3/4 a bottle of JD's that I'm not drinking because of the affects of reflux.

Grolsch I have 2-3 of those in my fridge. I'm not a fan so suspect they will still be in the fridge in 12 months time. I bought them for the bottles as I brew my own ginger beer at times and the swing tops are the best. Because you can test the fizz and reseal it and leave it a few more days if is not gassy enough.

Yeah it is a tad bitter that's a good way to describe it.
