They are not all the same. The coolant must contain Ethylene Glycol. When I had a V6 I used a coolant that conformed to Holden's specifications for the V6 engine. It will have that written on the container.
Coolant to be used in any v series commodore must be a 50% mix of concentrate and water.. The majority of ready to use coolant you buy from a store will only be a 33% mix which will suit any other car bar a v series commodore.. if u want a good ready to use coolant buy techtoloy 100
I use Whyyns in my vn ss as it is the best suited for my v8.
For the ecotec v6 engines you need to run a special coolant called factory coolant so you dont corrode the heads, they ratio of coolant to distilled water is labeled on the bottle,make sure u flush ur system really well and get rid of all the gunk.
