Prices starting to come down now,

SV6 Ute-$34990 drive away- Same as what the VE was selling at
SS Ute-$39990 drive away-VE was about 38k for memory

This included 5 year warranty etc, not bad before you negotiate abit more

I had two engine mounts replaced at Holden. They charged me $529 all up. $149 per engine mount and roughly $220 in labour and adjusted my Hid Headlights for free. I guess it comes down to how old the technicians are and how many apprentices work there. Ralph de Silva Holden in Melbourne are great because they have a lot of older blokes who know their ****. I think I got a good deal considering I was nearly duped by one tuner who said he could install all 4 engine mounts for $640 and then Gm Motorsport sales rep quoated me $200 each engine mount and labour was $400... that's 200 per hour, absolutely insane. The only good thing about Gm Motorsport are they tuning capability, can't go wrong. But as soon as you enter the place they want to sting you big time on parts and labour. The head sales rep is a shifty bugga too. Can't trust a man that talks so much that I can't get a word in the conversation.

That seems like a good deal. How much extra is an auto box on an SV6 Ute?
Do you think you can negotiate much on that?

There is heaps of stock coming into dealers unsold this coming month (October). The last 2 months, the order write for VF has been terrible! I can't see them holding out for much longer without putting bonuses on certain models, especially SS.

At the moment if you're in Perth, I'd sell you a VF at pretty much cost.

Walked into my local dealer in Sydney and if I commit before months end I can get the following,

SV6 Sportwagon (Auto) $38k drive away

SS Sedan (Auto) $42k drive away
