Agree with that 100%.....When i went to the Summernats this year, there were people creaming themselves over late model Commodores and i'm just thinking, it's just a bloody late model Commodore. Who cares?? Anyone can go buy one, so whats so good about it?

I don't really stop to look at anything post WB Holden though....It has to be a REALLY nice Commodore for me to stop & look.

looks tough as nails!!! but has anyone ever tried driving one? go try and sit in the coffee tin in the cupboard, just the same!!

no seriously, i worked on one last year, im not big, but im bigger than the customer, and he had the indicator stalk replaced with a tek screw to clear his knee, and i had to brake with my left foot, glad it was an auto!! i only drove it in and out of the workshop, and even that was too much.

good headturning: something clean or sounds good... i dont give a **** if it has 22" inch's etc etc, but if i saw a (example) vn exec, resprayed with black bumpers, tinted windows and nothing TO out there, there i will look :)

the other day i actually saw a realllllly clean toyota corona, clean factory paint respray with flakes put into it and everything looked so new, like it came off the factory floor.. i couldn't stop looking :)

bad headturning: when your in a car with a shitload of ugly accessories(rice) OR they think your a hoon haha....

but to me, clean = head turner...

i think a head turner means something different like if you see kombi van (and i F-ing hate kombi vans) go past on 18" rims you look unlike a wanker in a done up commodore (like i can talk) you don't even give them the satisfaction of smiling at them lol.

I know I get a fair few people look at my car, I notice when I drive on the freeway and I can see people coming the other way have a good look, but when I see some of the head turners in this post I feel humbled, that Corvette is beautiful

Yeh, a blown big block chev with zoomies on it will do that.....It was cruising around at the Summernats, what an engine...Would be sooo much better if it was in a decent car though.

HK munro.. OMGZ now thats a head turner.. whether its clean as a cucumber or looking like the bloke who owns it should sell it to me... NOW... oh wait.. the latter is all of them :p

anything that can be counted as a muscle car... as long as its clean is a head turner.. with the exception of most commodores.. gotta be a freakin sweet one to really justify a second glance though... also cars with real style, individuality or just plain bad ass piece of automotive ingenuity...

this is basically what happens when a neat HK comes by.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pXfHLUlZf4&feature=related

I was watching the news the other night (as we all are about the fires) and they were looking inside a garage and I spotted something, my heart just sank, the metal frame of a HK Munro burnt out, bugger

On a lighter note, a head turner is just personal taste. I love mostly old cars, comaros, mustangs, HQ - WB utes, LJ GTR's and soforth.

For me a headturner is a nice clean debaged car, dark tint, nice note from a v8 and a nice set of wheels. I am not into out of the bonnet blowers (prefer under bonnet types)

    Each to their own though.

I find cars that are head turners are usually ones with a loud exhaust or subs, mostly because you hear them coming...
Other than that theres a car I saw drive past my house and I was like OMG!
It looked immaculate. I THINK It was some form of new monaro, Black, most likely from Canberra. I have never seen anything like it before.
Other than that Red cars/utes usually get a second look from me...
Might google an see if I find a pic of what I mean...
