Lol. I bought six bottle jacks to prop up a floor on my house while I replaced a bearer.
Hope that bearer isn't pine?

I've got a 15 ton bottle jack in my pipe bender, l've wondered if l could use it to prop a section of the house for the same job as you've done?

I guess l'd have to buy a house first, that needed the bearer or stump replaced to find out? :);)

Well, I'm restoring a rusty old Kombi, buthat's not Commodore related
Also trying to diagnose issue with a holden Astra that once reaching 4th won't gearchange back down unless you turn the engine off & restart it.
It can be chosen manually to go down gears & take off in first but drive is a pain.
Looking forward to going to SA to pick up my VS which I have done allot of work to to get it roaring like a race engine. That's match ported,
Custom exhaust I designed myself (only a straight through & no muffler
Modded ecu to live tune & wideband co2 to gauge fuel mix.
Takes off like a slingshot.
Converted to manual T5 with a series 1 buick flywheel & boss to creat ultra lightweight flywheel.
Miss the old girl.
The ecotec 3.8l v6 goes so much better with porting.
Everyone thinks it's a V8
Goes harder than the 5l V8's

Sorry I digressed from the thread.

It's sort of this thread because bottle jacks can be kept in the shed...And it is quite possible part of your house could be used as a garage, so it does fit into this thread...:)

Was poking around in the shed tonight looking for stuff to sell. Found a few bits and pieces that I can let go fairly cheap as they are taking up space.
Thought about listing my old floor jack, but decided not too in case I need it one day.
