Put stop leak in her radiator to see what happens put the new reg sticker on drove into a concrete support beam started removing **** like shields and deadening from underneath the back of the car to get some weight out
Saw a Delorian on the roads, swore at a driver for cutting in front of me and almost caused an accident Just another day lol Sent from my HTC ARIA using Tapatalk II.II.IV
(yesterday) got mine back from the stealer who had it for a week again trying to fix the radio that hasn't worked properly since new. Again the radio still isn't working properly and again they caused more damage to my car and again they lied to me about the damage and the service they supposedly did but again I don't believe them so walked out without paying for it. Pack of pricks, this is exactly why stealers get the bad name they deserve. If Ballan Holden ever expect to see me spending my hard earned at their premises again, they are seriously deluded - talk about shooting yourself in the foot, I told them when I booked in I was in the market for another new car, guess who won't be making the sale. In fact my experience with Holden stealers has all but put me off buying another Holden, after our tax goes to propping them up, this is how they say thanks, they make me sick.
Found out that the wheels my mum bought me for 100 bucks are ROH rims. 16 inch rims that ill use for track.
Started work on the new project. Budget model Mitsubishi Triton. Picked it up cheap from work Made some new light holders and fitted up some LED's and a worklight as a reversing light. Hosed down the engine with almost a litre of degreaser and then hit it with the pressure cleaner, looks schmick now.
Filled it with 98 petty and fpund out that its used a litre less with the A/C deleted. Gave her a bath. Found out that she can do stand stills even with 20s. Bit yet struggled with 17s.. You tell me..
Changed the catback to the Redback exhaust that was on my wreck. Found that a cat was damaged a bit, a uni has movement and a driveshaft has up/down movement. #### it all.
replaced both lower control arms, and sway bar to chassis rail bushes... hoping this will stop my unexpected journey's to gutters on left corners! top end back on the SS with new water pump... head gasket on rhs between water jacket and combustion chamber... thank god no warping or cracks! about to wash land barge and maybe put a new lhs bonnet hinge ready for new windscreen later in the week.
Fixed a stupid door lock actuator so now my car locks properly again then gave it a good wash clay and polish.
Got a new Distributor cap, rotor, and a alternator belt from Repco. can't be assed putting them in until later in the week though (at least the motor won't burn me than!)
Found out that the old exhaust had a stuffed res.. Was rattly.. Started the power window install. Rear done. Now to start on the front..
