When you said you were adjusting the rockers the other day it looks like your planning on doing it often Bloody Gas
While doing a pizza delivery in the stato I heard a hissing sound, I took a look under the hood and found the smallest pin hole in my bottom radiator hose squirting steam all over everything, I have no idea how the hell it happened but im going to have to fix it tomorrow
Replaced the hose and refilled the coolant, I can only find two out of three supposed bleed taps though, the sticker on the cold air intake says to consult the owners handbook and the handbook says take it to holden. I also bought a set of five vt ss mags for $100 im going to use as spares just for the new stato
Changed oil, filters, spark plugs and leads. Washed, chamois, tyre shined, trim blackened, quick polish with Autoglym super resin polish, then a coat of Autoglym deep gloss protection. After all that, drove it to work for an arvo shift. Swyped from my Note 2 phablet...
stripped off electrical tape on the engine loom looking for breaks, corrosion, exposed wire, and pinched wires. trying to sort out the code 42 error (electronic timing circuit bypass). found the shielding on the knock sensor wire had a break and may have been earthing on the engine. double wrapped with electrical tape. going for a test drive tomorrow to see if the engine light comes back on... (doused engine with holly water, and did spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch)
put the calais up on stands to service the transmission (new shift solinoids too) change oil, oil filter, plugs, leads, 02 sensors, tps, iac, air filter, fuel filter, rocker cover gaskets, clean up underneath before the new headers, cats and exhaust go on.. then otr and mafless tune... cant wait to finally have the v8 rumble..
Tried a mag wheel repair kit on the mag my wife hit the gutter with. Waiting on it to dry, then will go down, sand and paint. Fingers crossed it works. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Is she going to drive the car again? You should see my LHF, my ex-wife left her sig all over it, gave up repairing it after the third time.
