Belted the left rear wheel arch for clearance purposes. Got new tread. Lost clearance...
Currently in for a full wheel alignment.

Put some Nulon mineral 20w-50 in it. So far; impressive stuff for a few bucks.

Found some oil in the water, the LIM gaskets doth beckon, time to get some lifters and end the procrastination.

I personally am a MASSIVE fan of Nulon oils. All my vehicles run on it. Engine, trans, diffs, power steering and brakes.

I plasma cut the chassis strengthening off the last piece of my written off Clubby today (the driver side sill). Going to copy this one for the other side as that one is a little bent.

Got replacement steering wheel buttons off eBay.

The seller didn't mention the middle Next button has damage and was 'fixed' with silicon..

Also found out, that despite my current ones being backlit, and the 'replacement' ones having the exact same part numbers, etc there is no part number difference between backlit and non-backlit buttons... hmm..

Now to try and get a refund and try again.

Well the guy owned up to fixing them and giving a refund once he receives them back.

Now to hunt around for second hand ones again..

Changed the oil and filter in the ute. I thought, "well, while its up here..."

    2 days later...
    Oil & filter changed
New brake pads front and rear
Painted discs and calipers front and rear
    Changed diff oil
    Fitted sump guard
    Fitted VE SV6 exhaust tip
Washed the inside of all 4 wheels
    Changed tensioner/pulley/belt
    Changed spark plugs
    Vacuumed it
    Cleaned the windows
    Put protectant on the dash

Quite a bit of stuff to a car that goes to the panelbeaters tomorrow. Obsessive much?

    last night this happened.
so was in the city for school and saw and heard a whole lot of police officers. including one having someone in a commo having a massive argument with him, so they were pulling people over I guess.
head back to carpark and see a divvy van outside, really thought nothing of it, as though it would just be patrolling the area.
get back to car, its cold, and is not overly loud, but its a carpark so it makes it louder. (also a kind fella told me the police were actually waiting just outside the door)

anyway, let it idle (out of gear) all the way down and see the divvy van backing up as though to block off the exit.
they do keep backing up and line up to enter carpark. *wipes forehead*
put in the ticket and exit the carpark.
officer has his window down just staring at the car.

now for the record, its filthy. and anyone how has seen the car knows, its higher then sabs Cruiser.
so I have no idea what the officers were doing but he did have that "what am I looking at" confused look
they also entered the carpark. so good thing I wasn't 2minutes later *thumbsup*

so I really did nothing other then get a few strange looks from some officers

They suck air from the bottom of the box, where the 2 hole mod is, then up through the filter and towards the engine from the top of the box.

They are an ok mod, but not as good as a true OTRCAI
