I can't stand 15inch rims anymore, and as far as 16's go I like these (VE steelies) more than alloys. Tires are half bald so I thought I'd see if I could do it and get a decent result. We'll see how long it sticks
Went to the spray it off yourself car wash and rinsed off all the winter salt and crud just in time for this weekends winter storm. :doh: I'm sick of winter and it hasn't arrived yet.
On the VB I did a minor service - change oil and oil filter, change coolant, grease suspension, run an eye over everything.
Drove the sucker around today with the air con on full and got groceries, yay for no more overheating....
Had the car parked up outside work. The ute was backing out of the spot and didnt look, car coming down the lane rammed him and pushed the ute into the cruiser. Cruiser was parked straight in the bay before it was pushed over. Tis the season. Bit of damage to Flare, Guard and Bullbar. Insurance will deal with it.
Replaced the pcv hose again on the Senator. Couldn't get the proper hose few weeks ago, (autobarn said they were obsolete) used a generic hose, which decided to come off and jam under the belt last night, almost cooked the senator Holden's this morning, grabbed genuine hose, and fitted it. That'll learn me for trusting the pimple faced teeny bopper at autobarn Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Not today but on friday drove 200km to the best performance tuner in NZ for a MAFless tune to my 04 SS.
yesterday. the old man offered to wash it when I drove into the driveway after work as he had just finished his. took him up on the offer. looks the goods compared to how it was. and saved me washing it today.
