Just get someone to push down on it when your pulling on the latch.

Or if you hit the top rh corner while pulling the latch this sometimes works aswell.

Sold my boat.
Got the bonnet open after 1 1/2hours- Biiiig screw driver up under the bumber and undid the spring bonnet release. Found the cable 1/2 buggered and the bonnet misaligned. Going to take the inlet manifold off and silastic the hell out of it to stop the possible airleaks- Hopefully she fire the way she used to.....Yup, Tried that. May have been when I "Starsky&Hutch"ed across the bonnet...OK, it was more like a suplex, to try open the bonnet in the first place. She's down hard on the bonnet lacing against the headlights and grille. Used the clublock to push the bonnet release lever up, AND grabbed the cable aswell. Even used a screw driver(shock horror, I know) between the guard and the bonnet.(if you saw the bodywork it wouldn't make you cringe so much)
