Found I had a 2cm long tack in a rear tyre, must have picked it up somewhere between Sydney & Ballarat, fixed with a plug. Then I realised the tyre shouldn't be on the car anymore. Thats now two new tyres needed....
And to top it off, we need to move house - the rents going up.

had to brake hard, heard a large clump so pulled over in servo and freaked out

Realised was my club lock that caused the noise.

Fitted period correct rego label to the '79 VB; would be replica of first ever label fitted to the car. Engine number and 6 digit customer number blanked out in pic for obvious reasons, but are on the label that is on the car.

Rinsed the road salt off at the local DIY car wash then drove it home and garaged it. Later today I'll wash it with ONR then wipe it down with Detail Spray.

took it through a car wash. (didnt bring the cleaning mitt on holidays)
so much better.
but i think its about to rain :p

filled it up (thought highway kms would be a bit better on the fuel, but still good anyway)

used it as a ute, towing and carrying stuff.
not fun trying to reverse a tiny trailer you cant see though :s
(jetski trailer, used to some bigger trailers)
