What did you do to your VR/VS today?

I'm going to build a stash of 4 or 5 SH units. Not wanting to pay stupid prices for a new one. I just need to find SH spare ones at around $20 each and keep one in the ute.

FYI - I have bought off ebay. Wait until there is a special ($ off) and buy. Make sure you get a warranty and then swap with what you have to test to make sure the "new" one works ok. I've done that with a couple of essential items that give no warning (ECU etc).

we rebuilt the ute last year & I swear it leaked as soon as it went back in

I think it's care factor....if you really don't want it to leak & put in great deal of effort.

Mongrel of a thing will leak on purpose haha

Pity the RM on the 304 wasn't like Buick. Easy as to punch a seal into the early V6, and they tend to not leak again, unlike Holden V8.

On a side note that i may end up cutting my losses on, anyone ever do a getrag swap and purchase a pedal box from a t5 being told "they're all the same"

I posted the getrag bits, i had someone almost instantly contact me to swap the T5 pedal box in return they let me pull the clutch and brake pedal i need along with the master, slave and reservior. They got me to take accelerator pedal too. Dont know why but i know someone who needs it anyways.

I must be lucky ( the exception) = yes there is some weeping on the sump but it'snot bad at all !!!

All my stocker & mildly modded cars very few if any leaks...the pampered cars with the wild motors & money put into them eventually leaked grrr

My stock 304 Senator only really leaked from the rocker covers, not enough to leave anything on the ground though.
