Finally got around to tightening power steering belt - no more annoying screeching noise YAY

Picked up a fiberglass Monaro style bonnet
Has a bit of damage to it but for $50 i figure it's worth a look at.

collected 2 more VS's to add to the VN & VP collected the weekend before. bloody yard getting full now!

Murphys law - been on the hunt for a door & guard for while for the VS Berlina. Finally bought some for drug money from wrecking yard last week, then picked up 2 whole VS's on the weekend.

Towed it home with a dead starter motor.
Stupid old cars!!
Fingers crossed it was a short enough trip we didn't damage the transmission with our towing.

From what I understand the VR trans is fairly forgiving if being towed with a rope as long as you keep the speed down.

Snatch strap doubled up.
Max 50kph. But more likely 30-40kph and a bit of traffic around because of schools just finishing so stop/start a bit.
Approx 5km from home.

Turns out starter was throwing out but not spinning.
Probably Chinese junk for the price I paid for it.
