That's pretty nice. I paid 2400 for a VR Ute and mine is not as tidy as that.

Gave the ute a wash this eve in preparation to go camping next week. Figured i won't be driving the usual 30km worth of dirt for the next 2 weeks so won't be getting too dirty for a bit. Also cut and polished the 6 months worth of insects on the bumper and bonnet.

Fitted a ne 12v taillight globe because some Muppet had fitted a 24v one and it was rather dull. Also searched eBay for some led taillight globes but couldn't find anything decent. Hopefully autoelecau gets back to me if he sells them. Because for what I could see on the rest of the site it seems like hit and miss if they will work properly and have the right size inserts.

VS Equippe Series II
Fitted a Sony CD player to replace the tape player. Required two adaptors, omne for teh Sony to the standard and one from the standard to the Holden. All was well except when I tried the vents, they wold not change. Took teh surround out again and checked the fittings. All good. This time I started the engine before I checked the vents and funnilly enough they worked. Bloody idiot moment again.
