Made my gauge panel. They are just random gauges sitting in there until my oil psi volts and temp gauges show up :)

Pulled the door trims off to see why the window wouldn't wind all the way down. As it turns out, the crossover for the speakers was in the way.

After a bit more looking, someone along the line done an upgrade as it's all Hertz speakers and crossovers, with tweeters in the heater vents on the door.

Must have gotten pretty wet in there at some point because both crossovers were all but fried, which explains why the sound comes and goes over bumpy roads.

Tested the tweeters by themselves and they're dead as well, but the woofer sounds pretty good when plugged directly back to the headunit.

Been having some trouble with window washers blocking up. Kept forgetting to blow them out with the compressor. Totally blocked today and no access to my compressor. I ended up using a needle, some boiling water and my mouth sucking and blowing. Seems to have fixed them, for now at least.

"Installed" (read 'Jammed it between the seat and the console') an old CB radio I haven't used for 15 years. A mate wanted me to join Crest NSW (Citizens Radio Emergency Service Teams) so I could help monitor emergency channel 5. Now I will be able to stir up truckies again :)

a good wash and new headlights

I put the original outside louvers back on the rear window, replaced the alternator and had a wire fixed that's been arcing out and causing the car to surge for a few days now

Car has not been treated very well, working on getting it into a better condition mechanically, then a few scratch repairs on the bumpers

Had some new tyres fitted

Your most expensive, cheapest wheels sir. $76 Diamondbacks, they are pretty crud but I grip more ironically compared to my rooted old ones
