What did you do to your VR/VS today?

Picked another VS Ute today
Got 2 sets of wheels, tires are gone on the other wheels but rims are in good condition.
1999 VS S3 Spac V6 Auto.
Tomorrow (depending on weather) i will swap the wheels around, i have a set of VF SV6 wheels and new tires on the other Ute which i will swap over.

Ordered some long shank, tapered wheel nuts to bolt VE/VF wheels onto my VS. The 10 inch rear rims rub on the inner guard so I had to buy some 12mm spacers leaving next to no thread to work with.

What do the spacers look like?

Installed muffler mounts,put on a shorter belt to get rid of the ac compressor whine the car is so quiet now u can hardly hear it at all

multi fit ones from autobarn mate $30 a pair and the nuts are from byron bay $90 delivered with a set of locknuts

More central locking probs today. Got out at Coles and drivers lock wasn't working. PITA because the key won't turn the barrel to lock but it will unlock. You can get it to push down with your finger but it needs to be forced. Where as the actuator has no trouble pulling it up and down. I worked out it was another broken wire. I have now decided to do away with connectors and use Jaycar solder joiners that can be soldered with a stove lighter. Wish I had done this last time I had an issue with the plug but I didn't want to drive 30mins to Jaycar. I will have to wait until after work tomorrow now and grab a pack of joiners. Hopefully this will be the last of the actuator problems once I fix it tomorrow.
