Had my valley gaskets from Mace turn up today. Really impressed with Mace-ordered late on Saturday night, they were delivered lunch time today. All ready to get fitted tomorrow afternoon.

Quick tip put some oil on the gaskets so when you slide the valley cover around you won't damage the sealings around the ports.

Accidentally picked up an ecotec with 4l60e on it, haven't figured out what I'm going to do with it or where to put it, but I thought hey- spare engine and box is always good to have

Repaired the cables on the actuator again. Hopefully this time by using solder joiners I won't have to repair it again anytime soon. I am getting fairly quick at it, but I still haven't worked out the best way to remove the vents, without needing a tool, which can scratch the housings they sit in. I have a paint lid removal tool that would make it less likely to cause damage but every time I need it's at my other home.

I don't know, I've owned a few V6's and they sound ok as long as you don't expect the V8 rumble because it just ain't gonna happen. I run a full twin 2.25" exhaust under the Super6 Calais and it sound much better than the factory exhaust.

My old VN has a single 2.5" exhaust with straight through mufflers and headers (no cat) and didn't sound to bad either. Just as long as it doesn't have that asthmatic factory exhaust sound....
