Track down a boot latch. It decided to **** itself when I went down to Innisfail. Can get one off Ebay, but need it before I go to Cairns or the thieves down there will have a ball. Can get one from a wrecker in Tolga for $40. Also discovered the other lock I got when I replaced the drivers side is for the boot! Didnt bother changing it because the rod clip is a **** to get off.

Reversed into a tree when I was packing up from work. Tiny mark on the corner moulding on the tub but I broke off a plastic round bit that helps hold the tonneau on. No idea what these are called?? If anyone knows and would enlighten me what they are called and how they are secured that would be fantastic.

Cheers but that bit is fine on the ute. I actually broke off the little knob that hols the rope on the cover.

ordered a Mace CAI for the Ute...

On my list, just not sure if it will be in the next month like I hope or a while longer. I'm owed some money for some landscaping jobs, so depends when he pays me.

Yesterday I adjusted the alternator belt tighter to eliminate that slight squeak after startup. Then removed LH rear wheel, lower shock bolt, caliper and disc - so I could tweak the handbrake a few clicks tighter.
When I do RH rear it'll be easier as they actually drilled an access hole in that disc.
