doesnt really matter what you've replaced on it mate, there are literally thousands of these cars going for anywhere between $500-$5000.

I'd say about $3500 and thats pretty optimistic. The Odo doesnt help ya, and nor do any of the bad points. To get a good price it would have to be mint, with nothing wrong.

the bad points always stand out. i dont go look at a car to buy and think to myself, gee this car must be good, all the lights work.

the paint issue will drag it down pretty bad.

2K in my money it's sad to say. The work that has been done doesn't matter at all. Might get to $2500 with the long rego. Trade-in will be much worse. If it's still nice to drive then keep it.

i brought my vt berlina new in 1997 $48.655 its done lol just iunder 140,000 in 14yrs and has leather that i optioned when i got it.....the vt drives like a dream, in 14yrs the only prob i had was the alternatore spat the dummy, thats it oh and 2 sets of tyers, my point?>>> $48.655 ,just on 140k on the clock, never smashed, spotttless, drives as good as any new holden,is now in 2011 worth(my vt) lucky to get over $5500 private and dealers will offer me $3,500(thats why im keeping it) my maloo is worth more than my vt,and my 1976 SLR is worth more than a new car. so what i lost on the vt ive made back on the SLR....UNLESS the car is of limited numbers?, an old 70s muscle cars dont expect it to hold its value for very long.....car prices drop like a rock the sec you drive out of the dealers show room.cheeers

Price is relative to demand, people will pay what it is worth. I would pay next to nothing for a basic VS. I paid/would pay more for an S, because it is rarer, more appealing to me etc etc etc.
