What gearbox SSV?

I pick it up 2moro so I'll have a the proper info. Why.? Dont they make SSV in a V6? I'm getting the feeling that's what u are getting at.

There is SV6. SSV is V8.

If it's the 5 speed auto needs a 5l40e , expensive replacement. I think series 2 has the 6l50e 6 speed . Cheaper replacement and more reliable. Need to figure out how many gears your transmission is.

It's a 07 VE SSV V6. So the gearbox has to come out of a older VE SSV or can it be just out of different model VE? That's what I'm trying to find out.

There’s no such thing as an SSV V6. Either it’s a SV6 with a V6 engine it it or it’s an SSV with a V8 engine in it.
