I had exactly the same problem ,original one's threads were stripped so bought one from supercheap, then it started leaking, red stains everywhere ,then got one from Holden (revised cap (part no:13502509) and cheaper then SC),all good now.
Today is Shopping day and I will be driving past Beecham Holden and I will stop and give your part Number and get one. Also its cheap oil from Autobahn today and tomorrow I will get 10 ltr of Penrite GF-5.
Thanks for the Part Number

I agree.
I have replaced 3 genuine on 3 cars without a problem.
That what I like to hear!! Last night I spoke to a friend that is a mechanic and he told me 50% of those aftermarket caps leak and he wont use them anymore.

I got the Revised Cap 13502509 for $17.95 today at our local Holden Dealer yet the Aftermarket cost me over $23. I never expected the dealer one the Genuine one to be cheaper. Now that a first for me

Question!
Revised Cap 13502509 that I purchased today is a 20 lbs - 140kpa rating, Now My 2008 V6 Anniversary Commodore has a LEO Engine so the Question is have I got the Correct Cap rating for the year and the LEO Engine because during the VE series I think they use three different series (LY7 and LEO and another)of Engines so do all use the same 20 lbs - 140 kpa rating cap?.

Pretty sure that is the right one. The top hose gets very firm once the engine warms up. I believe all Alloytec motors would be sold with the same pressure cap. The only change I have heard of was a slight revision of the diameter of the Oring, which I guess makes the new caps seal better.
My engine is also LEO.

Good Man thats what I want to hear. The odd thing about this the aftermarket ones for the VE V6 are 120 kpa (17.4 lbs )not 140 (20lbs) like the Original cap from Holden

Another Question!
On any Morning if you remove the radiator cap the first time on a VE V6 of even a VF V6 do you have water just below the cap or its further down the rubber hose.

(PS Just check the Vf V6 Storm and if you remove the cap (140kpa- 20lbs) I have coolant 15mm just below the top so the Ve must be different as the Ve its down the pipe not unless there is air in the system)

You shouldn't disturb pressurised system, you should only check the water level from the expansion tank.
