I have an 6L with the A6 Gearbox.

I am about to put a Super Charger on, I will supposedly then have 450KW.

I have heard of people talking about High Torque Stall Converters.

Does my Auto have one of these of some sort already? Ie does it have a Torque Stall Converter at all.

Will I need one, or a bigger one?

What are the advantages?

What are the Disadvantages?

I know little about Autos as I have always had manuals.

Any help along the lines of these questions would be helpful.

Any help outside of the lines of these questions, that you feel will increase my knowledge on the subject, will be fine also.

Wow that's a lot to take in.

So every Auto has one.

And a bigger one is like letting the clutch out at higher revs so to speak.

But with the super charger, I will have more Torque at the current Stall point, so keeping the stock converter should be fine.

Cheers.

You will go quicker with a bigger stall.

2015 Subaru Forester, XR6 turbo ute.
High stall convertors are more for drag racing/hot camshaft engines. The stock convertor will probably have a stall of around 1,200-1,500rpm.
No need for your application.

0-100
quarter mile
top speed
or all of the above?

Probably 0-100 and Quarter mile, but I'm not racing or timing so shouldn't matter at this point.
It's just a once a month Sunday driver.
Standard Stall should make it drive basically the same i think, apart for having more Torque across the range.
