guys i have this problem that is follows. eevrtime i want to buy a part 4 my 1989 vn the person in the store calls it a series 1. I think it's a series 2 it was built in December of 1989. It's not got the original trans or motor in it so I'm not sure. can anyone tell me? if necessary i cant get pics. thanks in advance
ask 88GreenVN if you get your engine number off the block he can give you the build date and if its a s1 or s2 engine i had the same issue when replacing my cas by the way thanks again lol
an easy way to tell... if your thermostat is behind your throttle body its a S1.. if its on the front of your engine slightly to the left of your alternator its a S2.. easy....
good point but it depends what parts your trying to get for it i think the cas and water pump are the 2 major issues when looking for parts
