what is this switch 4????

    '95 vr executive wagon
    today when i went 2 start her(95 vr wagon) i noticed a wire hanging out of the kick panel under the steering colum.i dropped the panel and looked and it has broken off the back of the green switch on the kick panel....can anyone tell me what the switch is 4 and where does the other end of the wire go????

    green switch on the kickpanel...... sounds to me like something aftermarket, and therefore it'd be impossible for one of us to tell you what it's for

    hmm i thought myb after market but it just looks like its factory..it has 3 wires coming of the back going up where i cant see

    Not the green light on the steering suround (panel)? thats the immobiliser light,

    immobilizer light is red on all models, and not on the column. green light is ignition courtesy light

    yer if u have yr left foot on the foot rest its just above(in line ) with yr shin/knee

    its not the green light near where the key goes......its actualy a switch with on/off symbols further dwon the coulm

    Sounds like someone has added it in for some reason at some point. Could have been a killswitch, fully sik neon switch, just about anything. The only real way to find out is to trace the wires and see what (if anything) they lead to. I assume you tried flicking it to see...

    It's got to be an after market switch. Maybe a kill switch.

    yer i always assumed it had something 2 do with the central locking so i never touched it but i have knocked it a few time and nothing happend....ill chuck a few pics up 2morrow
