grind it all off and start again 36 or 40 on the air sander will do it until its shinny clean and use metal mend or fibro-fill as the base layers as all ready suggested get a metal file and find the high and low spots and adjust as required with a hammer and dolly , clean and apply metal mend .
I like to get in as its just turned hard with a course bog file and carefully file off the excess and base shape it be carefull let the file cut it off if its rolling off it still to soft, then use body filler over the metal mend after its cured and shaped. then prime

lol, ok so basically the plan is to get all the shite off, apply vast amounts of either fibreglass or metal filler (repairing the dents is not an option cos the skin is fragged and its a 2 piece inner and outer skin i cant get a dolly behind) then bog the final amount.

long term goal: find a new boot.

p.s. soop, dude. i answered your speed file question 3 times now :p i have a speed file. it was dead flat each time i blocked it back, but fried up when the paint went on.

LOL sorry man. I can't see at the best of times. I miss 90% of things posted on here.

Best bet is, put a little filler in. Sand it back. Add a little more, sand it back. and so on untill its flat. DOOOG of a job but thats the only way to do it.
