[253] what manual to use?

Hey all im getting a 253 vl commodore and want to know what manual i should use behind it as its an auto and i dont see the point of having a v8 when its auto?

can anyone help me out?

CRS do an adapter from the Aussie 4 speed bellhousing to the V6 T5 box

Some people would say, whats the point of having a V8 if its only a 253 haha.


If the motor staying stock, or worked? If stock, just do what foamy said, and get the adaptor and use a V6 T5.

nah it wont be stock in the end i would blow the 6 box to pieces so i would need a v8 box and i want a 5speed....

yeah but the 253's go just as hard as the 308
