VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
There are several diffs fitted to these.
There will be a sticker on the left of the diff center if you get under there and have a look.

The sticker will have the details of ratios (of which there are several for Crewman and if it is LSD)

If your doing a rebuild, good chance to get an LSD centre in, if not fitted with one now.

I will have a look when I get home.
The sticker might have been painted over.

The three ways we can identify what you have now are:

1. Remove the centre and see what you have, delaying the rebuild.

2. I can check references when I get home and do some guess work based on model. However educated guesses could also mean you buy the incorrect kit.

3. A helpful forum member with access to the Holden data base might be able to identify what your car was fitted with at the factory. They will need the VIN to do that.

Well the sticker you mention has been found with the following information.
18D5 (with a circle around it).
0580-0289 3N
BTR S6.
My parts supplier wants to know do I need an M78 or M86 kit.
I don't know the answer.

if you can slip the diff cover off it should be stamped on the crown wheel.
