hey guys
im looking at getting a sc14 supercharger for my vr v6 commodore.
its done 240,000 kms and was just wondering if i would need to change anything if i was to run just 5psi?
injectors/fuel pump?
also will the buick engine withstand 5psi?
and will i need a tune?
cheers

You've pretty much answered your own questions.
You will need a better fuel pump and higher flowing injectors
A intank walbro pump and L67 injectors will do for low boost.
Buick v6's are quite resilient to boost provided that all the necessary support systems are in place such a good fuel system, spot on tune, regular maintenance.
If you're planning on doing any decent skids/burnouts, etc than you will need a fully functioning upgraded cooling system.

Hope that helps.

You will need a tune at the very least.

5psi your still gonna blow head gaskets, i ran a 5psi pulley on a sc14 unintercooled, with a foam tune and blue top injectors and ran quiet well, made 154rwkw on 4.8psi also took the heads off to put on some other ones, and there was no sign or damage done to the felpro gaskets i had on there.

I thought 6psi was a safe boost for a stock engine.. or was that for the 8's? :\
